VerifiedThey are running a circus, not a beauty saloon. Waves Calicut is a prime example of a beauty salon gone horribly wrong. Their staff, primarily inexperienced and incompetent Hindi-speaking individuals, seem more suited to some other jobs than a professional beauty establishment. My first experience was a nightmare. A stylist, clearly clueless about basic hairdressing techniques, botched a simple hair setting twice. It took the intervention of a skilled stylist, Sharaff, to rectify the mess. My second visit was equally appalling. Another inexperienced stylist, despite being shown a clear reference photo, managed to create a disastrous hairstyle. After a frustrating hour, I was forced to take matters into my own hands and redo my hair with the hair cream which I had with me. Thankfully, Reji, a talented stylist, stepped in to salvage the situation. While Reji and Sharaff are undoubtedly skilled professionals, the rest of the staff are an absolute disgrace. Their lack of experience and understanding of basic hair care is evident in every service they provide. It's disheartening to see such a lack of professionalism and quality in a beauty salon. It seems like they've hired a bunch of people who came to Kerala for PWD works and have zero experience in the beauty industry. I strongly advise anyone considering Waves Calicut to think twice. This "saloon" is a waste of time, money, and hair. If you're lucky enough to get an appointment with Reji or Sharaff, you might have a decent experience. However, for everyone else, it's a guaranteed disaster. Avoid Waves Calicut at all costs!

Thanks Sarana (staff who has done my facial) for the best advice for my skin it was a delight to talk to and so kind and funny. She made it a great experience and was very informative and helpful. The salon was a lot larger than I anticipated but everyone seemed very friendly. I’m sure I’ll return! Thanks!
