Here’s my honest review: Booking Experience I called in advance to make a booking but was informed they were fully booked for that day. I was advised to call the next day to secure a slot. When I called the next day, I requested a 10:30 AM appointment, but it was unavailable, and the next slot offered was in the afternoon. While I understand their popularity, I feel they could improve by encouraging earlier bookings or being more transparent about slot availability to manage customer expectations better. Arrival and Atmosphere Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted with a drink and shown the catalog of spa options. While the setup was welcoming, the aromatic smell in the reception area was overpowering. A milder scent would strike a better balance, as excessive aroma can overwhelm the senses instead of relaxing them. A subtle fragrance enhances relaxation for the body and mind without being distracting. We opted for a one-hour spa massage for two, priced at ₹4500. Unfortunately, the couple’s room was unavailable, reportedly due to ongoing renovations. Based on previous reviews, it seems the renovation has been delayed for months. It would be great if they could expedite this process for future guests. Another inconvenience was that their Visa card machine wasn’t working. This can be challenging for international customers who might not carry enough cash. Ensuring reliable payment options would improve the overall experience. The Spa Experience The massage itself was outstanding. The therapists were skilled, and the techniques were deeply relaxing. Both my husband and I felt completely rejuvenated, with the perfect balance of pressure and care. My husband, in particular, praised the precision of the pressure points. We only booked a one-hour session, but we regretted not opting for the two-hour package—it was that good! After the massage, we were directed to a shower. It would be helpful if the spa informed customers in advance about whether a shower is part of the process, so guests can prepare accordingly. Alternatively, they could consider providing a hot towel wipe-down option to remove excess oil while leaving a nourishing layer on the skin. Benefits of Balinese Oil Massage Balinese spa oils are famous for their hydrating and therapeutic properties. The natural oils used in the massage nourish the skin, improve circulation, and promote deep relaxation. Leaving some oil on the body allows these benefits to continue post-massage, enhancing the spa’s overall healing effect. Final Thoughts Despite some challenges with booking and amenities, our overall experience was excellent. The quality of the massage overshadowed the minor inconveniences, and we left feeling deeply relaxed and refreshed. Would I recommend Diosa Bali Spa? Since I went on a week day I was included with a four hand massage as well , which was a surprise and great !! I had two masseuses who perfectly knew the techniques and they communicated with themselves without compromising the massage and constantly reassured me about the pressure and heat of the stones !! And the hot shower ( properly heated ) was also amazing coz I usually experience inconvenience with the shower temperature in most of the places I visit, but here it was perfect !!
