Responsibilities
Makeup Application: Perform a variety of makeup applications, including bridal, editorial, special event, and everyday makeup. Stay updated with the latest makeup trends, techniques, and products to offer innovative and personalized services to clients.
Client Consultation and Care: Consult with clients to understand their desired makeup look, preferences, and any specific concerns. Provide professional advice on suitable makeup styles, colors, and products, ensuring a personalized and enjoyable experience.
Product Knowledge and Recommendations: Demonstrate a strong knowledge of makeup brands, products, and application techniques. Educate clients about the benefits of different products and recommend suitable options to meet their makeup needs. Upsell salon products and services to enhance the client's overall makeup routine.
Hygiene and Sanitation: Adhere to strict hygiene and sanitation protocols to maintain a clean and safe makeup environment. Follow proper sanitization procedures for makeup tools and brushes, and maintain cleanliness of workstations and equipment.
Qualifications and Skills
- Proven experience as a Makeup Artist or relevant certification in makeup artistry.
- Proficiency in a variety of makeup techniques, including contouring, highlighting, and eyeshadow application.
- Strong creativity and ability to create diverse makeup looks.
- Excellent customer service and consultation skills.
